Is my CRS score good enough?

There isn't one magic number. It depends on which rounds you're eligible for. Here are the recent cut-offs by draw type.

How to read this

If you're only eligible for Canadian Experience Class rounds, you'd have needed about 518–519. If you qualify for a category such as French, trades or transport, recent cut-offs were much lower. Provincial Nominee rounds look high only because a nomination adds 600 points.

Common scores

  • Below 450: focus on category eligibility (especially French) and the biggest point gains.
  • 450–500: above recent trade and transport cut-offs if you're eligible; below Canadian Experience Class rounds.
  • 500–520: close to recent Canadian Experience Class cut-offs.
  • 520+: above every recent non-nominee cut-off in our period.
Past cut-offs don't guarantee future ones. They change with the number of invitations and who's in the pool.
